On August 5 2021, he said that Israel was at the point where it needed to act militarily against Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His comments come amid growing tensions following a deadly drone strike on an Israeli-operated tanker off the coast of Oman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel, along with the U.S. and the U.K. have blamed Tehran for the attack on the&nbsp;<em>Mercer Street<\/em>&nbsp;last week that killed two people. Iran has denied involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Israel is ready to attack Iran, yes,&#8221; Gantz told Ynet on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are at a point where we need to take military action against Iran. The world needs to take action against Iran now,&#8221; he added according to a translation of his comments tweeted by Ynet journalist Attila Somfalvi.<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:?subject=Joe%20Biden%20Defends%20His%20Power%20To%20Authorize%20Airstrikes&amp;body=I%20thought%20you%20would%20be%20interested%20in%20this%20video%20I%20found%20on%20MSN%3a%20Joe%20Biden%20Defends%20His%20Power%20To%20Authorize%20Airstrikes%20http%3a%2f%2fa.msn.com%2f01%2fen-us%2fAALB1l8%3focid%3dse\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, Gantz had said that Iran has &#8220;violated all of the guidelines&#8221;
